Turning Paper Into Art

Hi! I'm Nicole and I am living out my dream as a part-time artist. My full time job is running around with my two beautiful (crazy, messy) children. I came across paper quilling shortly after my son was born in 2020 and needed an artistic escape from the trenches of first-time parenthood. I followed an account that made gorgeous quilling designs, bought a cheap starter kit on Amazon, watched a Youtube video and got started!

I've dabbled in several arts (as most artists have) and quilling quickly became the art that felt truly MINE. I wasn't painting an image I found on the internet or following a cross-stitch pattern off Etsy. Most of my ideas stem from being out in the world with my children. Then once the kiddos are napping or off to bed for the night, I’m able to turn those ideas into reality.
